Call for Speakers

PHP Quebec is proud to announce the 2007 PHP Quebec Conference. We are looking for the best speakers who are willing to share their experience and skills with an educated crowd of PHP programmers from eastern Canada and USA. This year the conference will feature 3 distinct tracks:

• Advanced Techniques: Providing in-depth details of PHP techniques.
• Data Availability: Databases, XML, Web Services, VOIP, TOIP, WAP, etc
• PHP Beyond theory: Real solutions for real problems related to software development and project management.

1. Sessions must be held in English or French.
2. Sessions last one hour, with a 15 minutes question period.
3. Sessions will be recorded for distribution after the conference.

Date and location

PHP Quebec 2007 will take place in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, at the Sofitel Montreal Hotel between March 14th and 16th 2007.

Speaker Package

PHP Quebec covers travel and lodging expenses for speakers during the conference. Speakers will have full access to the 2 days of conference.

Submitting your proposal

We are accepting session proposals through this (form) only. Please, fill every field. You may submit several distinct proposals.

Proposals that are incorrectly detailed, badly written, sent using any other mean than the form below or written in any other language than English or French will be ignored without explanation.

Submission deadline

The call for speakers will end on Friday, November 24th, 23h59, Montreal time.

Session Selection Process

The conference board will receive all proposals and will review each of them. The selection will be based on the presentation of the session, its value for our audience and on the location of the speaker. Submitters will be contacted individually about their session, accepted or not. All decisions taken by the conference board are final.
